NCI has over 4,000 employees in the United States, Canada and Mexico, including some of the best engineers, manufacturing workers, sales personnel and administrative employees in North America.
We have a strong track record of retaining our staff. More than 50 percent of our current employees have been with us 10 or more years and half of those have stayed with the Company for over 20 years. In 2011, we had our lowest turnover rate ever.
We want to help our workers climb the ladder of success. We offer new and existing employees a variety of training, education assistance and mentoring opportunities. Training is encouraged throughout an individuals' employment to help them stay abreast of new technologies and evolving job expectations.
Our training programs cover a broad range of topics, including:
• Forklift and welding certifications;
• Safety in manufacturing;
• Computer software skills;
• Specialized customer-service programs; and
• Supervisory and leadership programs.
In addition, NCI has a generous educational assistance program that can help employees receive outside education – for example a college course or professional certification – specifically related to their NCI job duties and responsibilities. Employees receive training in diversity, sexual harassment awareness and related programs that ensure a fair and cohesive workplace environment.
